Pimlico South

Welcome to Met Engage,

We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Pimlico South Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at PimlicoSouth@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Priority Action taken

1.Drug Dealing
-Young males involved in drug trade around Churchill Gardens Estate
-Drug users congregating in Bessborough Gardens involved in dealing.

Issued 08 July 2025

S- Young males involved in drug trade and use around Churchill Gardens Estate
M- A mixture of HI VIZ and plain clothed patrols targeting areas where drug use occurs. There will also be attendance at youths clubs on the estate as well as crime prevention stands within the estate. There maybe partnership working with local council and proactive units.
A- Through the targeted patrols and partnership working, we can see a reduction in youth drug activity.
R- This is an issue consistent with other large high rise estates with tower blocks across London.
T-This is ongoing and we will review results monthly from viewing CONNECT reports and speaking with members of the community.

Actioned 08 July 2025

ASB patrols targeting Grosvenor Road, Bessborough Gardens and Rivermills for drug related ASB. As well as targeted operations to prevent vagrancy related ASB.

Issued 08 July 2025

S- Anti social behaviour that includes drugs, youths congregating vagrancy in and around the Bessborough Gardens and Rivermill areas in Pimlico South. Both are green spaces that have history of attracting ASB related issues causing concerns for residents.
M- Targeted patrols of both locations in HI viz and plain clothes alongside partner agencies such as the local authority when required.
A- A reduction in ASB related calls and CONNECT reports would evidence positive engagement.
R- These ASB issues are not isolated to the above areas, however do have a follow on effect on other areas close by.
T- Would review reports, CADs, CONNECTS weekly to confirm any reductions in ASB, although this would still be a long term project.

Actioned 08 July 2025

Preventing ASB and vehicle crime.
Target patrols around Lupas Street, Johnsons Place and Peabody Avenue. Preventing ASB and vehicle crime with the following: Scooters / Pedal Cycles / Deliveroo Bikes.

Issued 08 July 2025

S- Lupus Street, Johnson Place and Peabody avenue are having issues with vehicle ASB that includes scoters on the pavement, pedal cycles and deliveroo bikes.
M- HI VIZ patrols in the areas mentioned above, STT to conduct operations with NPT to tackle the cycling on the pavement.
A- Through partnership working, the patrols and operations should see a reduction in vehicle ASB.
R- These issues occur across London, however locally, results would greatly benefit the local community.
T- Feedback from residents and a reduction in CONNECT asb's would evidence results. This is an ongoing issue and a timeframe not applicable.
