Welcome to Met Engage,

We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Seven Sisters Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at SevenSisters@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Priority Action taken

Theft From Motor Vehicle - Data from recent crime stats indicates a theft from motor vehicle hotspot at Westerfield Road and Suffield Road. Concerns were raised by the community about theft in the local area so this will be a ward priority for this quarter. Analysis of intelligence indicates that blue badges from cars are being targeted as well as tools left in vans overnight.

Issued 27 November 2025

Ward officers will complete intelligence analysis and arrange for targeted patrols in the area at relevant offending times. Proactive work will be undertaken to identify potential suspects and Achilles heel tactics used to curb their offending in the area. Ward officers have already undertaken a number of engagement events in the area in order to increase awareness of safety measures that can be taken in response to these crimes and provide a visible deterrent.

Actioned 27 January 2026

ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour) - Local resident have reported ongoing drug use/supply anti-social behaviour in Brunswick Car Park, Lomond Close and Anchor Drive. This was a previous ward priority however has been expanded in area to include anchor drive. Data indicates a reduction in reported ASB however matter remains a significant community concern.

Issued 27 November 2025

In order to reduce drug dealing and anti-social behaviour within the car park, the ward team have identified key times when offences have been reported. Patrols have been increased during these periods to maximise police presence. A number of stop and searches have been carried out with drugs being located and either arrests made or out of court disposal options utilised. Work continues in partnership with Haringey council to identify key individuals and premises linked to the noise nuisance. Once identified we will issue Community Protection Warnings (CPW) and Community Protection Notices (CPN) to prevent unreasonable behaviour that negatively impacts the quality of life of our local community. Patrols in the area are supplemented by officer from the Wood Green Town Centre Team when available
We encourage residents to continue to report incidents to police so the intelligence picture can be continually updated.

Actioned 26 January 2026

Anti-Social Behaviour, Street Drinking in Manchester Gardens - Residents have raised ongoing concerns of nuisance behaviour stemming from alcohol consumption in the park and large groups gathering causing excessive noise and disruption to local community.

Issued 27 November 2025

A reduction has been seen in issues in this location. This matter continues to be of concern to the community so remains as a ward priority. Officers will identify the key times these issues take place and ensure high visibility patrols take place. Any identified offenders will be dealt with robustly under the powers provided by Public Spaces Protection Order now in force in Haringey. Officers will also make use of their powers under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 to issue community protection notices to repeat offenders.

Actioned 26 January 2026

The word cloud below represents the issues raised by residents through their Local Matters survey. We take this into consideration along with discussions with stakeholders, ward panel meetings and conversations with the public when setting our key priorities
