West Green
Welcome to Met Engage,
We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.
Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.
This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.
West Green Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.
To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at WestGreen@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:
| Priority | Action taken |
|---|---|
|
Local crime statistics and concerns raised at the recent ward panel meeting indicate a significant problem with robbery and theft offences occurring in the Turnpike Lane Station area of the ward. Priority was retained by the panel on the 6th September. Issued 06 September 2025 |
Officers completing research to identify key offending times, any potential linked series and common methods of offending. High visibility patrols will be targeted at relevant times to deter offending in the area making use of stop and search tactics as well as plain clothes patrols to identify and arrest suspects. Ward officers to arrange a day of action targeting offending and will reach out to proactive units for assistance in dealing with the problem. Officers will consider getting a bid for funding to tackle problem. Ward PCSOs completing engagement events in the area to increase awareness and reduce offending. Actioned 30 September 2025 |
|
The Milton Road Community Group has recently raised concerns about drug use and supply within the Willow Walk and Milton Road area of the ward. Residents have raised concerns about drug users congregating, collecting and using drugs which is impacting on the quality of life in the area. This priority was retained by the panel on the 6th September. Issued 06 September 2025 |
The team have increased patrols in the area in effort to deter and detect the behaviour complained about. Those found persistently in the area responsible for the offending behaviour have been targeted with anti-social behaviour warnings. The team have also been making use of community protection warnings and notices to address repeated anti-social behaviour. Actioned 30 September 2025 |
|
Resident ward panel on the 6th September identified a local concern around anti-social behaviour with Lordship Recreation Ground, specifically with alcohol related behaviour around the main gates to the park. Issued 06 September 2025 |
The team are undertaking regular patrols targeting this area of the park. There is now a borough wide public space protection order in place with officers able to enforce this with fixed penalty notices. Persistent offenders will be dealt with through the community protection warning and community protection notice process which allows officers to bar them from the area. Actioned 30 September 2025 |
The word cloud below represents the issues raised by residents through their Local Matters survey. We take this into consideration along with discussions with stakeholders, ward panel meetings and conversations with the public when setting our key priorities
