White Hart Lane

Welcome to Met Engage,

We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

White Hart Lane Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at WhiteHartLane@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Priority Action taken

Policing Priority: Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB)

The key policing priority is to address Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB), with a focused response on Perth Road and The Crossways area.
This includes ongoing concerns relating to:

Individuals and groups engaging in disruptive or nuisance behaviour
The use of vehicles to cause or contribute to ASB, including dangerous driving, noise nuisance (revving engines, loud music), and congregating in vehicles in a manner that intimidates or disturbs the community

The priority aims to:

Reduce incidents of ASB and improve community safety
Increase visible policing presence in hotspot locations
Work in partnership with residents, local authorities, and other agencies to identify offenders and implement preventative measures
Take robust enforcement action against individuals using vehicles to engage in ASB

Issued 17 May 2026

Targeted plain clothes and hi visibility patrols along Perth Road and The Crossways. Issuing of ASB warnings, Community Protection Warnings (CPW’s) and Community Protection Notices (CPN’s) to repeat individuals causing ASB. Engaging with individuals loitering and causing ASB at the locations and conducting stop searches if grounds exist. Issuing Section 59 warnings to any individual using their vehicle to cause ASB along Perth Road and The Crossways. Working alongside Safer Transport to tackle speeding and individuals using their vehicles to cause ASB.

Theft Related Priority - Theft and drug related offences focusing on Peabody Estate, N17.

Issued 17 May 2026

Targeted plain-clothes and high-visibility patrols will be conducted around the Peabody Estate, utilising both marked and unmarked police vehicles. Officers will work closely with CCTV operators to identify and address individuals involved in thefts from front gardens and motor vehicles within the area.
In addition, patrols will focus on individuals using the Peabody Estate for drug dealing and drug use. A key priority will be the gathering of intelligence to support targeted enforcement, alongside increased high-visibility and plain-clothes patrol presence.
Enforcement measures will include the issuing of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) warnings, Community Protection Warnings (CPWs), and Community Protection Notices (CPNs) to repeat offenders. Officers will also engage proactively with individuals within the estate and conduct stop and searches where lawful grounds exist.
