This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.
Your Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) is a group of local officers dedicated to surving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London. Please find the contact details for your SNT attached.
Please note that reporting a crime or incident to the Metropolitan Police should be done via www.met.police.uk, 101 or 999.
Larkswood Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Anti-Social Behaviour remains a key ward priority due to ongoing reports of nuisance, disorder, neighbour disputes and behaviour causing fear and distress within the community. SNT officers work closely with local authority partners, housing providers and residents to identify repeat locations and individuals, using problem-solving approaches, targeted patrols and enforcement opportunities where appropriate. The focus remains on reducing community harm, improving resident confidence and safeguarding vulnerable individuals involved in ASB incidents. Issued 22 September 2026 |
Conduct targeted patrols in identified ASB hotspot locations, proactively engage with repeat victims and offenders, and work alongside Waltham Forest Council, housing providers and partner agencies to address the root causes of ASB. Utilise problem-solving plans, intelligence gathering, safeguarding referrals and enforcement powers where appropriate to reduce nuisance, protect vulnerable residents and improve community confidence. Burglary remains a key ward priority due to its significant impact on victims and community confidence. SNT officers continue to conduct targeted reassurance patrols in burglary hotspot locations, undertake intelligence-led enquiries, provide crime prevention advice, and engage with residents identified as vulnerable or at risk. Partnership working and preventative initiatives, including property marking and the distribution of crime prevention equipment where appropriate, are being used to reduce opportunities for offending and increase public reassurance. Recent activity has included high-visibility patrols and burglary prevention visits as part of Operation Baldegg. Issued 10 September 2026 |
Deliver targeted high-visibility patrols in burglary hotspot locations, conduct reassurance visits to victims and vulnerable residents, provide tailored crime prevention advice, and utilise intelligence-led activity to identify and deter offenders.
