Barnet Vale Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

The team were part of a month long shoplifting Operation in January resulting in 48 offenders being arrested. Actioned 28 January 2026 |

We have made a concerted effort to focus on shoplifting offenders and this has seen a number of a Class A drug users being arrested for this crime type. Actioned 28 January 2026 |

Utilise plain clothed patrols to target those using vehicles to commit crime across the ward. Using local information & intelligence to develop proactive operations targeting offenders. Actioned 28 January 2026 |
