Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.
This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.
Roundwood Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Youth Engagement Issued 22 October 2026 |
Officers are continuing their efforts to tackle local ASB, Violence and drug dealing. It was identified in the ward panel meeting that local education of youths, engagement and providing support could be a key factor in reducing these issues. Ward officer will be liaising with local schools, doing talks, drop in surgeries and also liaising with local charities churches to see what can be offered in terms of extra curricular activities to the young people. Violence against the person Issued 22 October 2026 |
Officers are working with Harlesden Town Centre Team and will be arranging plain clothes patrols in Roundwood Ward and working with local intervention teams/ partners to speak to females in need of support. Actioned 22 January 2027 |

Anti social behaviour Issued 28 July 2026 |
Officers are carrying out high-visibility patrols in known hotspots. Working with council ASB officers and via to provide support and intervention when needed. Over the next few weeks there will be proactive patrols, by local units TCT and proactive as part of Op Terminos, this will encompass the ASB hotspots in Roundwood Actioned 21 July 2026 |
