Welcome to Met Engage,

We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Greenhill Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at Greenhill@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Priority Action taken

Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG)

Issued 13 August 2025

The reduction of VAWG related crime remains a priority for Q4.

Greenhill NPT continue to prioritise delivery of VAWG related operations and engagements. Local residents and key business stakeholders will see an uplift in both uniformed and plain clothed officers on patrol across the ward this summer as part of Operation Ashlar. Their remit is to proactively target and apprehend those individuals intent on committing relevant VAWG offences.

Operation Ashlar has had some great results to date, with:

39 x Arrests for offences including Assault occasioning Actual Bodily Harm (ABH).

Officers will continue to prioritise the reduction of VAWG throughout Q4.

Actioned 13 August 2025

Drug Related Crime

Issued 13 August 2025

Drug related offending remains a top priority for our ward panel for Q4.

Officers of Greenhill NPT are committed to the reduction of drug related offending. Over the summer there are several planned operational deployments, notably Operation Ashlar, that will see both uniformed and plain clothed officers in Greenhill alongside specialist officers from the Dog Support Unit (DSU). Proactive policing remains the best tool to combat this kind of offending and our officers will prioritise their powers under stop and search to identify and arrest offenders.

Operation Ashlar will continue through to September. We have seen some excellent results to date:

39 x Arrests for serious drug related offences such as Possession with Intent to Supply (PWITS).
85 x Stop Searches
14 x Community Resolutions for possession of drugs.

We will continue to prioritise the reduction of drug related crime for the remainder of Q4.

Actioned 13 August 2025

Anti Social Behaviour (ASB)

Issued 13 August 2025

Anti Social Behaviour remains a top priority for Greenhill ward for Q4.

As part of our summer operational plan for Greenhill so named Operation Ashlar, both residents and businesses alike will notice an increased presence of uniformed officers across the ward. The remit of these officers is to robustly address any anti-social behaviour through the provision of ASB warnings and other relevant punitive measures to ensure Greenhill remains a safe ward for all.

Operation Ashlar will continue through to the first week of September. We have had some fantastic results to date:

39 x Arrests
35 x Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Warnings
10 x CPNs
2 x Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBO)

We will continue to prioritise the reduction of ASB for the remainder of Q4.

The word cloud below represents the issues raised by residents through their Local Matters survey. We take this into consideration along with discussions with stakeholders, ward panel meetings and conversations with the public when setting our key priorities
