Kenton East

Welcome to Met Engage,

We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Kenton East Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at KentonEast@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Priority Action taken

Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG)

Issued 25 October 2026

In the Kenton East ward around places like Queensbury Circle, Queensbury Park, Kenmore Park Playground, local markets and bus stops. We organise weekly "Women's Safety Walk, Talk, and Do" sessions, where in partnership with the Harrow Council VAWG officer and inviting local councillors to join. These sessions allow women in the community to share their concerns, talk about safety in the area and take actions to make our community safer. We have increased high visibility patrols (HVP) in main hotspot areas that have been highlighted as concerns. This helps to ensure a stronger presence and make these areas safer for everyone. Additionally, to support upcoming Global initiative “16 days of Activism against Gender - Based Violence” (from Tuesday 25th November to Wednesday 10th December), we will also be holding a series of Women’s Safety Sessions across the ward.

Burglary and Vehicle Crimes

Issued 25 October 2026

To target Burglary and Vehicle Crimes such as theft from vehicles or theft of vehicles. We have organised a local operation where officers have made arrest in relations to the burglaries and stolen goods. Additionally, we organised crime prevention street briefings and shared crime prevention and visit every victim of these crimes to provide reassurance. Burglary and Vehicle Crime Prevention advice was also sent out through our new Community Crime Fighting Platform “Met Engage” to all ward residents. These efforts are aimed at keeping our community informed and safe.

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

Issued 25 October 2026

To reduce ASB and tackle Street Drinking in Kenton East ward, conducting targeted patrols on hotspots and organising regular “ASB Drop-in Surgeries” and "Coffee and Crime Prevention" sessions, where we distributed relevant crime prevention and awareness leaflets to residents. Additionally, work with multi-agency partners to share information / intelligence and assist with operations to tackle ASB and Street Drinking and conducted high-visibility patrols in main areas identified through crime mapping.
