This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.
Woolwich Dockyard Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

ASB related to drunk persons and drug taking associated with three local bars, those being CQ Lounge, Le Wouri and MIMI's Lounge; encompassing McDonalds where persons tend to congregate. Drink and drug driving, loud music and parking issues are all prevelant Issued 08 October 2026 |
Conduct joint operation with traffic, council, SNT and licensing officers to combat the three locations. Work with the McDonalds owner to ascertain how they can better prepare themselves Actioned 21 January 2027 |

Hi visibility patrols also encompassing Plain clothes proactive operations in order to reassure the local community. Utilise stop search powers to identify offending Actioned 21 January 2027 |

High viz patrols in the area to deter crime. Plain clothes patrols to detain suspects causing ASB and build intel picture. Work with the post office to ascertain what they can do to assist disperse this crime type Actioned 21 January 2027 |
