Welcome to Met Engage
We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.
Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.
This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.
Colliers Wood Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.
To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at ColliersWood@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Violence Related Priority
Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls is a key aspect of the Mayors Policing Plan and a New Met for London.
We use data to identify specific problem areas in Colliers Wood. We work with Merton Council to make areas safer. We work with specialist departments to relentlessly pursue perpetrators of VAWG.
Shoplifting
Colliers Wood has a large retail footprint and is often targeted by shoplifters. Concerns have been raised by a number of residents due to the increase in shoplifting that they have noticed on the ward.
Local officers have participated in a number of operations targeting the shoplifting hotspots resulting in a number of arrests. Officers will continue to target shoplifters and seek to manage the most prolific offenders with long standing solutions, such as Community Behavioural Orders.
Street Drinking
Colliers Wood has seen an increase in Anti-Social Behaviour caused by Street drinkers, such as drug taking and rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour. With particular hotspots being outside the tube station, on the High-street and its surrounding area.
Officers have patrolled the ward with Merton Safer Streets and are assisting in the implementation of the borough wide public space protection order (PSPO) on anti-social street drinking. Officers have also set up their own proactive management plan to focus efforts on reducing the amount of anti-social behaviour caused by street drinkers.
In an emergency always call 999. If it is not an emergency, you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101.
