Ravensbury

Welcome to Met Engage,

We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Ravensbury Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at Ravensbury@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Priority Action taken

Violence & Robbery

Issued 06 January 2026

The team will patrol areas of concern for violence and robbery based offences, using trends and information to best target patrols.
We will take on board any live information and intelligence and act on that appropriately to be most effective in patrols and aim to reduce these offences. We will actively work with other departments and partners to target offenders and bring them to justice.

Ravensbury ward has a very low rate of robbery compared with the rest of London, with 7 robbery offences reported in the area over the past 10 months.

If you have any relevant information relating to offences or offenders please report directly to us or Crimestoppers so we can take appropriate action

Actioned 01 April 2026

Motor vehicle crime

Issued 06 January 2026

The team will visit victims of crime and also surrounding areas to offer both re-assurance and crime prevention advice.
Evidential leads will be explored in an attempt to identify any offenders and patrols completed in areas of higher offending patterns in order to both catch offenders as well as deter offences

We are also running a pro-active operation for both motor vehicle crime and burglary in the surrounding areas.
Please report anything suspicious to us so we can build it into our intelligence and information

Actioned 01 April 2026

Burglary offences

Issued 06 January 2026

High visibility patrols will continue within our Burglary hotspots. Visits completed to all victims of such crime to provide re-assurance and crime prevention advice to those victims as well as other members of the community.
Working with other departments to secure any available evidence which may assist in catching offenders.

Additionally we are currently running an operation around burglary and motor vehicle crime in the area.
Please report any suspicious behaviours or offences to the police so we can target our patrols and persons who are looking to commit offences
