North Richmond Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Motor Vehicle Crime Issued 04 March 2026	Providing crime prevention advice to victims of crime and disseminating this information to the wider community at Police Liaison Group meetings, through communication with Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators, Met Engage, and at community engagement sessions or street briefings. Providing information monthly on the number and nature of crimes being committed. Identifying hotspot areas and times and conducting patrols. Working with secondary investigation teams to identify and arrest offenders. Conducting checks on vehicels while on patrol to recover stolen vehicles. Actioned 04 March 2026
