Hanwell Broadway

Welcome to Met Engage,

We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Hanwell Broadway Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at HanwellBroadway@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Priority Action taken

Hanwell Broadway - Drugs and ASB Felix Road & Endsleigh Road, West Ealing, W13

This is currently a new priority set for the team. Previously the team has conducted a lot of work tackling drug related issues with some great success.

Short term plans:
• More High visibility patrols in the area to deter such activity and reassure the general public.
• Plain-clothes patrols to apprehend perpetrators and to bring them to justice.

Medium term plans:
• Persistent offenders to be targeted by use of preventative enforcement tactics such as Community Protection Notices and build up evidence for Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBO) or civil injunctions

Issued 23 October 2025

Extra patrols have been organised in the area to target ongoing issues.

Drug search warrant executed at address and male arrested for possession of drugs.

One male recently arrested for possession of Class A drugs and has been proescuted.

Another male arrested for FTA for drug offence.

Actioned 04 December 2025

Hanwell Broadway - Drugs – Boxwood House, Green Man Estate, W13

Issued 18 September 2025

This is an ongoing priority set for the team. Previously the team has conducted a lot of work tackling drug related issues with some great success. Two separate issues identified. One problem is Class A users who congregate in bin rooms and are involved in theft shoplifting and theft offences to fund their habits.
Second and more serious issue is drug dealing and use by younger group of mainly males. They congregate stairwells of the blocks and car park and more violent. Police have found drugs and knifes hidden in communal areas.

Short term plans:
1. More High visibility patrols in the area to deter such activity and reassure the general public.
2. Plain-clothes patrols to apprehend perpetrators and to bring them to justice.
3. Persistent offenders to be issued community protection warnings.
