Harefield Village

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

We regularly speak to local residents to establish what issues they may be experiencing in the area. Violence Related Priority

Reducing Violence against women and girls.

Regular patrols will deter Violence against women and girls, our presence will provide reassurance. We will endeavour to invite/include community members and partner agencies to be part of future Walk&Talks to discuss this issue.

Shoplifting

Shoplifting - Residents have reported this as a serious ongoing issue. The MPS and Harefield Village SNT are dedicated to the reduction of shoplifting.

Harefield Village SNT will use intelligence to bring offenders to justce and will patrol areas of concern on a regular basis, this will include plan clothes shoplifting operations.

Drugs

Tackling drug related offences.

Encourage residents to report suspicious activities. Increase patrols in hotspot areas. Community reassurance - update the community on progress to build trust
