Chiswick Homefields Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Vehicle and Vehicle enabled crime- Though we have significantly reduced it, we continue to see high levels of vehicle and vehicle enabled crime. This includes theft from and theft of vehicles, thefts of cycles and thefts where the suspects are on eBikes, cycles and mopeds. We aim to tackle this head on and significantly reduce offending across Chiswick. Burglaries- There has been an increase in residential burglaries. We will look to work with communities to prevent crimes as well as targeting offenders. Conduct high visibility and plain clothes patrols and operations. Drug dealing and use is linked to wider crime including theft and gang violence. Drug hotspots are being identified with view of a targeted approach.
