Feltham West

Welcome to Met Engage,

We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Feltham West Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at FelthamWest@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Priority Action taken

Shoplifting

Issued 09 October 2025

We are pushing for people to report, along with trying to identify the people involved in shoplifting.
We will be continuing with dispersing large group of youths. With foot patrols already ongoing with the Youth Violence ward priority officers will actively engage in handing out ASB warnings to Youths in these groups and work closely with The Centre Security and the CCTV team to be able to identify youths going into Shops. Feltham SNT has access to two NOMAD camaras on Feltham High street in which officers have the opportunity to identify anyone engaging in shoplifting with support of The Centre for additional Cameras. With the support of the NOMAD Camera and The Centre CCTV Room Officers can be deployed to conduct plain cloths operations to stop youths in the act of shoplifting and be delt with robustly.

Youth Violence

Issued 09 October 2025

Most of these youths are known to us, and our plan to tackle this problem is to use a PowerPoint created by Feltham SNT to aid Response officers, attending calls to ensure that a suspect from any available footage can be identified, so the appropriate action can be taken from each incident. We are issuing ASB Warnings, as well as submitting them for the turn around project which is done through the council, when the youth has received 2 or more warnings. As well as applying for CBO’s for the more violent youths.
We do after school patrols and engage with the youths, while continuously talking to the centre and Individual shops, obtaining banning orders for these individuals. We are looking at a relatively new offence, Intentionally or recklessly causing public nuisance. We will see if it can be used to cover the youths behaviour on the street to stop them before the behaviour escalates to violence. If the lawyers agree the offence can be applied to our situation we will then do proactive things and start arranging + 3 interviews to get them to YOTS.

Criminal Damage

Issued 09 October 2025

Officers are to conduct Proactive Cycle Patrols to improve mobility and coverage of the area and engaging with residents to pinpoint specific times and locations. Upon receiving reports of criminal damage officers are to engage in CCTV enquires and work with Hounslow Council to put in preventative measures to decrease the amount of Criminal damage in the area.
