Hanworth Village Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

The team will utilise various tools such as community protection warnings and ASB warning notices, as well as working closely with partners such as Hounslow Council, as well as local businesses. CCTV is often used to identify trouble makers when they have left a scene before police arrival. Actioned 07 October 2026
Shoplifting Swan Road/Bear Road Issued 07 July 2026	The team will focus their efforts in reducing shoplifting on the ward by identifying groups and individuals involved in causing this. The team will utilise various tools such as arrests, community protection warnings and ASB warning notices, as well as working closely with partners such as Hounslow Council, as well as local businesses. The team will utilise various tools such as community protection warnings and ASB warning notices and Sec 59 warnings, as well as working closely with partners such as Hounslow Council, and local businesses.
